Clone Records is proud to present this beautiful album from a young talented classical musician from Antwerp, Belgium : DijF Sanders





The Belgium talent is back with more great music after his last years debut album “Mating season” and this year’s ep “Swamp Boulevard”.

Dijf sings, plays the guitar, and programs the electronica, Jon Birdsong (former trumpet player of Beck) plays trumpet and stand up bass (contrabass) is played by Benjamin Dousselaere.

Dijf can’t be pigeonholed very easily, and “To Be a Bob” is a very versatile album : from moody jazzy tracks to crazy electronica reminiscent of Squarepusher releases, to electronica songwriting influenced by Tom Waits.

One of the main tracks is the poppy "Swamp Boulevard" which also was on the limited ep release.... But don’t underestimate the less obvious beauties such as “For you ass only” and the atmospheric “Etheric Landmarch”. There are enough great tracks on this album that will grow on you every time you play it.
